Is your data team struggling to keep up with the demands of the business, crushed under ad hoc data requests while always rushing to put out fires in your data infrastructure? Or has your organization democratized data access, much to the frustration of your data architects who now struggle to enforce data governance across rampant data silos?

It doesn’t have to be a trade-off.

Introducing Data Architecture as a Service (DAaaS)

A new self-service paradigm that empowers business users to create architecturally compliant data pipelines and repositories.

Built-in governance

By injecting architectural guardrails into commercial self-service data engineering tools, DAaaS solves the problems of data silos, while preserving data quality and trust.

Driven by metadata

DAaaS is a metadata-driven approach that auto-generates code and documentation. It also abstracts the underlying platform so data architects and engineers can change or update the platform without impacting business users.

DAaaS enables:

  • Compliance with architectural standards, minimizing data silos
  • Governed, self-service data engineering
  • The insertion of architectural guardrails into no-code development environments
  • Auto-generation of code, accelerating development and improving accuracy
  • Abstraction of underlying data platform and infrastructure

Abstraction: When we abstract data architecture, we solve the most enduring data pain point: the proliferation of data silos that wreak havoc on data consistency and trustworthiness.

Self-service: When done right, DAaaS reduces data bottlenecks, eases the burden on enterprise data teams, and empowers data domains to service their own data needs.

Reuse: DAaaS enables data analysts, data scientists, and new data developers to leverage the work of experienced architects and engineers without having to learn the intricacies of data pipeline design and development.
